Hannah Kickert, Jakob Feyferlik
Hannah Kickert was born in Korneuburg und dances since she was five years old. At the age of 9 she became a member of the Ballet School of the Vienna State Opera und performed since then regularly in repertoire performances of the Vienna State Ballet as well as at the Vienna Opera Ball and the Summer Night’s Concerts of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2014 she is a member of the Corps de Ballet of the Vienna State Ballet at the State Opera and danced in John Cranko’s Romeo und Julia, Rudolf Nurejew’s Schwanensee and The Nutcracker, John Neumeier’s Josephs Legende, Jerome Robbins’ Four Seasons (Summer) und Manuel Legris’ Le Corsaire amongst many others. At this year’s European Forum Alpbach she performed in an own choreography. Alongside her engagement as a dancer Mrs. Kickert is also studying political sciences at the University of Vienna since 2016.
The Viennese Jakob Feyferlik is solo dancer of the Vienna State Ballet. He was educated at the department for ballet at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna as well as at the Ballet School of the Vienna State Opera. In 2013 he became a member of the Vienna State Ballet, in 2016 he was appointed as a solo dancer. Being a soloist he danced so far a number of main parts such as The Prince in Rudolf Nurejew’s Swan Lake, Knight Jean de Brienne in Raymonda, Colas in Frederick Ashton’s La fille mal gardee, Kay in Michael Corders Snow Queen as well as Louis XVI. in Patrick de Bana’s Marie Antoinette. Mr. Feyferlik already received a number of awards, such as the 2nd Premio Roma Danza and the 3rd Prize at the International Ballet Competition in Peking as well as in 2014 the Karl Musil Memorial Award and in 2016 the Advancement Award of the Ballet Club at the Vienna State Opera. Guest appearances led him to several European countries so far as well as to Japan, China and Georgia.
