Adam
Jacobs
Adam Jacobs expanded on his early childhood dream of becoming a pianist by taking acting and singing lessons to open up new musical-performative horizons. While still at school, he performed in local productions, and even had a new role created for himself in “Jesus Christ Superstar”.
After graduating from the renowned NYU Tisch School of the Arts, he earned his major breakthrough in the role of Marius in “Les Misérables” (Broadhurst Theatre). He starred as Simba in The Lion King, also on Broadway, in 2011, before adapting Aladdin in the original production of the eponymous musical in Seattle, and later on Broadway, in 2014. This landed him Drama Desk and Grammy nominations. In addition to various TV appearances, he also released a solo album, titled “Right Where I Belong”, a compilation of songs by Alan Menken.
