Jánoška
František Janoska is a pianist, composer and exceptional musical talent. Based on his classical piano training and his stellar improvisational skills he together with his brothers developed a signature style of modern interpretation: the Janoska Style. Janoska Ensemble is an internationally acclaimed family ensemble, giving concerts in the musical capitals of the world from New York, Los Angeles, Moscow, Hong Kong to Berlin. Their debut album „Janoska Style“ (label: Deutsche Grammophon) was awarded the gold record in 2017.
František is a successful pianist and also a sought after composer and arranger who in the past has worked with the likes of Erwin Schrott, Anna Netrebko, José Carreras and Ramon Vargas. His first composition, a symphony called „Impressions along the Danube“, will première at Vienna Konzerthaus in May 2019, the release of the first movement „Bratislava“ has been performed by Vienna Symphony Orchestra at Wiener Musikverein in spring 2018.
Collaborations as soloist and composer include London Symphony Orchestra, Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Poznań Symphony Orchestra or Tonkünstler-Orchester Niederösterreich.
These days František tours Europe and the world with Janoska Ensemble. His first rhapsody commissioned by Esterházy Palace will première in August 2019 together with Haydn Philharmonic. The second LP of Janoska Ensemble will be released in January 2019 at Deutsche Grammophon.
