Don Kosaken

After the original Don Cossacks Choir lead by Serge Jaroff broke up, Petja Houdjakov took over many of the members to form a new choir. The Choir is touring through Europe every year, in different formations. Chorus leader Petja Houdjakov has been awarded with numerous prizes for his artistic work. In 2014 he received one of Austria’s highest honors, the Cross of Honour for Art and Science. At „Hollywood in Vienna“ 2016 , following singers are involved apart from the artistic director: Nikolai Martchenko, Oleg Eremin, Alexander Drozdov, Nikolai Nekrasov and Andrei Gerasimov.
