Arnold
Schönberg
Although Arnold Schoenberg did not compose film music himself, as a music professor at the University of California in Los Angeles he taught almost all Hollywood film composers and studio arrangers of his time, such as Leonard Rosenman or David Raksin. His atonal music influenced numerous movie scores. Schoenberg wrote a fanfare for the famous open-air stage »Hollywood Bowl«, where also his colleague Korngold had conducted.
