Patrick Doyle is a classically trained composer and writes for theatre, radio, TV, and cinema. Doyle has so far written soundtracks for more than 40 motion pictures, including Nanny Mc Phee, Eragon, or Bridget Jones’s Diary.

He has worked with renowned directors like Kenneth Branagh, for Henry V, Much Ado about Nothing, Loves Labours, Lost, Hamlet, and Thor, with Brian De Palma for Carlito’s Way, with Alfonso Cuaron for A Little Princess and Great Expectations, with Mike Newell for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, with Ang Lee for Sense and Sensibility (for which he received an Oscar and Golden Globe nomination), and Robert Altman for Gosford Park.
