Silverado

Writer/Director Lawrence Kasdan breathed much needed life into the Western genre with this seemingly classic tale of a band of well meaning ‘Outlaws’ who come to the rescue of a town under the rule of a no-good Sheriff.  The film and its brilliant Oscar-nominated score are something of a love letter to the genre and remains a modern classic.  The Main Theme presented here showcases all the wild, windswept adventure you could want from a truly great Western theme.  The Americana-infused woodwind and strings found in the mid-section preclude the rollicking »Rodeo«-strings, brass and percussion of the final moments as our heroes ride off into the sunset.
